Sas dla Crusc

Starting from the top station of the La Crusc 2 lift, go straight on past the church and take path no. 7. You will find yourself at the foot of Sas dla Crusc, below the overhang.

The climb continues between the rocks: with its exposed sections and via ferrata (fixed rope route), this tour is recommended for only the most experienced and fearless adventurers. After about an hour and a half of constant, relentless ascent, you arrive at “Ju dla Crusc”, the pass that opens the gates to the Fanes plateau.

After recovering your breath, continue on path no. 7B to reach the summit of Sas dla Crusc. From the summit you can enjoy incredible panoramic views, with a stark contrast between the inhabited area, with its cultivated meadows and rustic dwellings, and the nature park, with its unspoilt, almost lunar feel.

Retracing your steps, you return to the “Ju dla Crusc” pass, then continue on path no. 12 to the second pass, the “Forcela de Medesc”. We descend through the valley of the same name, across a scree slope that gradually gives way to some scattered shrubs. At the first fork, keep right, taking path no. 12A, which joins path no. 15 and returns to the La Crusc 2 lift station, which can also be used for the descent to the village.
