Through the Nature Park Fanes-Senes-Braies
Starting from the top station of the La Crusc 2 lift, go past the church and take path no. 7.
The climb begins under the imposing walls of Sas dla Crusc and ascends through the rocks. The path, at times exposed and protected with steel ropes, is recommended for only the most experienced and fearless adventurers; after about an hour and a half of constant ascent, it leads to “Ju dla Crusc”, the pass that opens the gates to the Fanes plateau.
After recovering your breath, continue on path no. 7 and then path no. 12, which descends towards Pederü. Crossing the Fanes-Sennes-Braies nature park, after an hour you arrive at the two huts, the Fanes and the Lavarela, where you can take a break with something to eat or drink. Then continue and, after another full two hours amid the mountains, you arrive at Pederü, where there is a convenient bus stop near the hotel. The service runs every 20 minutes and, changing at Longega, take line 460 in the direction of Colfosco. Get off at the stop in Badia (Pedraces) and it is only a few minutes on foot back to the La Crusc 1 lift valley station.
The route is ideal for hikers who do not suffer from vertigo, who are in good condition and accustomed to walking long distances, all rewarded by 360-degree panoramic views.
