Throughout the summer, the SummerPark lodge hosts an extraordinary photographic exhibition dedicated to the unforgettable 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina, an event that left a lasting mark on the history of sport and the Dolomites.
On display is a precious collection of vintage photographs from the Zardini Historical Photographic Archive, which preserves the heritage of the Zardini family, historic photographers of Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Authentic and captivating images recount the unique atmosphere of those days: from the construction of the Olympic villages and ski slopes to the thrilling competitions that brought athletes and spectators from all over the world to the heart of the Ampezzo Dolomites.
