Bread Festival
This year we celebrate the very first edition of the Bread Festival, an event dedicated to one of the simplest and most treasured foods of our tradition.
05.09.2025 - The bread path: From field to oven
Journey into our tradition today during a guided hike through the fields, as we discover the history of bread together with Helga, our herb expert.
We visit an old mill and a historic oven, where Matteo, a farmer from the Alfarëi farm, shows and explains how they were used. Meanwhile, we enjoy the authentic taste of bread.
The guides speak Italian and German. Free registration online or at the tourist offices.

Experience today an evening full of stories, traditions and flavors all about bread!
Amid stories, recipes, and local flavours, we’ll listen to those who live the culture of the region every day. The whole event will be accompanied by folk songs and a special aperitif (in Italian and German).

In the huts La Crusc, Nagler, Lé, L'Tamá, Ranch da André and by the Alfarëi farm, there is a festive atmosphere around bread, with dishes created for the occasion, music, many special features, and also something for the little ones.
