Enjoy the ladin way of life in Alta Badia
La Crusc is where nature, culture, art and photography all come together to create a unique experience that can be enjoyed in the hut at the SummerPark, where a photo exhibition dedicated to a different theme each year is accompanied by picture books to browse through between your adventures in the great outdoors!
For the new edition of our traditional photo exhibition, open to the public throughout the summer of 2024, we wanted to give space to young people from the area: the students of class 3 – ITE of La Villa High School Centre (Scores Altes La Ila) therefore took part in the project. They were organised into three groups, each working on a specific topic. The first project, entitled “Young people today and yesterday”, was intended as a look back into the past, comparing life then with life today. Enhanced by testimonies provided by the grandparents of some of the youthful participants, the project shows the evolution of the economy and standard of living in our valley, with tourism having made a large contribution. The second project, “Living the Dolomites in winter”, is dedicated to the myriad possibilities for sports enthusiasts who, in Alta Badia, can try their hand at a vast range of activities. Finally, the third project, “If I could fly”, is a veritable homage to La Crusc, with spectacular shots, taken from overhead from a drone, that show all the snow-covered beauty and magic of the place.
The exhibition tells the story of La Crusc through the eyes of our young people and can be seen in the hut at the SummerPark; it is open until Sunday 6 October 2024.
